In this video, Joe Piacenza, owner of Classic Camber, gives us a small tour and explains to us what Classic Camber is all about. I’ve always seen Classic Camber at the shows and have always noticed their presence with in the VW community. Aside from the restorations, Classic Camber also works on water cooled VW’s. Joe explains to me that they take pride in being a small “green” business by restoring older cars and properly recycling other waste. My Karmann Ghia, Part 1

This is part one of an on going series of me getting my 72 Ghia back in running condition. Be on the look out for more episodes in the coming weeks. The first thing I need is either a new gas tank or some one who knows a good place I can take my current tank to get it “boiled’. Basically, the tank sat for almost ten years with gas in it so I have a bad case of oil sludge. Also, I need my gas line checked, it has a clog some where.

Bob’s 67 Karmann Ghia

Bob has kept this 67 Karmann Ghia all original and in great shape. I just love hearing Volkswagen stories and Bob appears to have a few of them. He shares with me stories from when he use to drive around with a rag stuck in it to keep oil from coming out and he even told about when he use to go stump jumping. This is what VWTV is all about, hearing these great stories of why people love their VW’s so much.

Andy’s Suncoast VW Holiday Classic

I’m so glad I met Andy a few months ago. It’s not everyday you meet people that are so passionate about VW’s and the VW culture. He did a very awesome job putting together the 1st Annual Suncoast Volkswagen Holiday Classic. I expect to see this become a very popular show. After shooting his interview, I completely forgot to get shots of his car to go with his buggie interview, I hate when I do that. Nice work on the event Andy!

Louis’s 70 Karmann Ghia

Louis and the Tampa Bay Volky club represented very well at the 1st Annual Suncoast Volkswagen Holiday Classic. The club had some pretty spectacular looking cars which resulted in a lot of wins in the overall competition. From the looks of the club they seem to be a very close group consisting of family members and a few friends. Well, Louis, you have a beautiful car and I hope your club continues to grow!

Roy’s 69 Karmann Ghia

As Roy describes it, being brought home from the hospital in a Volkswagen is his reasoning for being a complete VW fanatic. Like most VW owners, Roy’s 69 Ghia is one of many he has had over the years. I just love the vintage green color!

Martin’s 62 Type 34 Karmann Ghia

I’ve been wanting to get an interview with a Type 34 owner for quite some time now. Thanks to Martin, I got an in depth look into this rare and classic Type 34 Karmann Ghia. I attempted to make this interview a little “artier” than the rest by making it black and white. After talking with Martin, it just really made me nostalgic and made me think of an old Bob Dylan photograph so I opted for the B&W look. I kept two interior shots color so you can see the color of the seats. I hope you enjoy!

2010 Daytona Winter Jam
